First published in 1927 by Hodder & Stoughton it is a collection of 9 short stories.
The American edition was published by Dodd Mead also in 1927 but the English issue precedes the US.
The first impression of the UK publications not dated and should have blue cloth with black titles and publishers device to spine. Black title and authors initials to front board.
There are 8 pages of adverts to rear. The paper is of inferior quality and prone to browning.
English 1st Edition Jacket
The 1st issue dustwrapper should be priced 7/6 on the spine. The rear panel has ‘Some New Novels’ starting with AEW Mason No Other Tiger to Paul Kimball Mrs Merivale.
The front flap has brief review and 16 other titles from the author. The rear flap has other H&S titles starting with FE Penny to William Le Queux
Annoyingly, I cannot make out the name of the wrapper arist

On an anecdotal note, the book is not common and in a dust jacket very rare.
