Victor Gunn is a pseudonym of Edwy Searles Brooks, who also wrote as Berkeley Grey and Carlton Ross. His main series character, who appears in all the books under this name is Chief Inspector Bill 'Ironsides' Cromwell of Scotland Yard. We know little else of this author and welcome any further information
