Seated behind the dozen old people who had braved the wintry weather to enjoy "An Evening of Magic with Father Don," Roger Dowling marveled at his classmate's skill. There were those who said it had taken magic to get Don Schneider through the seminary, but Roger suspected it had been a combination of faith and determination.
