This is a collaboration between Gordon Williams and Terry Venables (yes it is El Tel !) The series passed in relative obscurity until the main series character was brought to the small screen in a successful British television series. As a matter of pure trivia the jacket photography was done by one of the greatest angling writers, Chris Yates, who appeared in Passion for Angling with Bob James. I seriously doubt it will ever turn up in a quiz, but if it does remember me ! |
