GOSLING, Paula. Also writes as Ainslie Skinner. American. Born in Detroit, Michigan, 12 October 1939. Educated at Mackenzie High School. Detroit. 1953-57; Wayne State University. Detroit, 1958-62. B.A. in English 1962. Married 1) Christopher Gosling in 1968 {marriage dissolved. 1978), two daughters; 2) John A. Hare in 1981. Trainee Copywriter, Campbell-Ewald Advertising, Detroit, 1962-64; Copywriter, Mitchell's Advertising. 1964-67, Pritchard-Wood Advertising, 1967-68. and David Williams Advertising. 1968-69, all London; Copy Consultant, Mitchell's Advertising, 1969-70, and ATA Advertising, Bristol, 1977-79. Recipient: Crime Writers Association John Creasey Award, 1978
