Brief Biography
Martha Grimes actually lives in America but her books are set in England. She does research them over here which lends great authenticity to the settings. Her plot lines and style follow an updated Golden Age or Country House mystery style, one which has never fallen oput of favour with readers. A recommended author for those interested in the genre. The benefit also from a very pleasing format which makes for an attractive set of books
