Further Information
Leslie Ford and David Frome were the pseudonyms  of Mrs Zenith Brown. An American author whose work is of a consistently high standard, well plotted with sophisticated backgrounds often based in against High Society settings. Her series characters were the bachelor Colonel John Primrose and Grace Latham. By contrast the Frome titles tended to be set in England, her series characters being Mr Pinkerton and Inspector Bull. Apart from a couple of books the US editions precede UK, there is also a myriad of alternate titles
