Sub-Editor, Practical Teacher magazine, London, 1881-83; free-lance journalist in London, 1883-90; staff member, Leeds Mercury, 1890-1900; columnist ("A Son of the Soil") on rural life for several newspapers. Fellow, Royal Historical Society, 1918. Died 30 January 1935. |
