Mr Moto Japan's top secret agent, Mr. Moto is a small, delicate man - almost fragile. His patent leather shoes squeak a bit when he walks. His black hair is carefully brushed in the Prussian styie. When his mouth is open, he shows a row of shiny, gold-filled teeth and, as he smiles, he draws in his breath with a soft, polite, sibilant sound. His English is perfect, his voice low and well modulated. He says of himself, "I can do many, many things. I can mix drinks and wait on tables and I am a very good valet, I can navigate and manage small boats. I have studied at two foreign universities. I also know carpentry and surveying and five Chinese dialects. So very many things come in useful. ..." Despite his modest stature, he is physically powerful and a master of the art of judo. His perfect manners and immaculate dress do not alter the fact that he will kill a man without turning a hair. |
