The Cornish Coast Murder - John Bude
[1935] UK hardback first edition, first impression published by Skefington in London
The Author's First Book !
A VG+ book in VG+ 7/6 unclipped dust jacket
The book is solid and clean, no owner names or stamps etc
Binding solid and spine straight, overall a decent book
The wrapper has surface rubs to extremities and some wear to tips, no real loss though, mark to spine

Synopsis
THAT the honest church-going community of Boscawen had little regard for Julias Tregarthen, J.P., was an acknowledged fact, but when that worthy gentleman was found murdered with a bullet wound in his forehead, they were, at least, shocked. His sudden death caused the local Inspector much anxious thought and this was not lessened by a complete absence of clues. Curiously, however, the Rev. Dodd, vicar of the parish, having for years steeped himself in detective fiction was the means of saving the situation. Putting his theoretical knowledge into practice, he disentangled the complicated skein with such dexterity that if he sent one man to the gallows he at least added a convert to his congregation.

An absolute crime fiction highlight and fantastic artwork.
It's probably not an exaggeration to say that this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity . . .
