1935 UK hardback first edition, first impression published by Hodder and Stoughton in London
A solid VG book with partial dust jacket from Hoddder's own archive
The book is tight and solid, some usual H&S mottling due to acidity, this time to pastedowns rather than boards
Small neat '50' to endpaper, text block nice and bright
The 7/6 front panel and spine is from an original dust jacket which was kept in Hodder's own reference archive
In superb condition, great artwork by Stead, love the skull on the ball
