Faye Kellerman, yes she is married to Jonathan, trianed in dentistry and began a career in that field upon levaing higher education. She later gave it up to pursue a career as a full-time writer and met with considerable success worldwide. Her two main series characters are Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus.
