Our Opinion of the Author
Being born in the USA the author does a remarkable job of writing mysteries set in England. Personally I enjoy the books a great deal. Being brutally honest whilst she does get the flavour of English life and culture there are a few things in every book which don't quite 'sit right'.
As you work through the books you'll find these lessen in later books, presumably thanks to editorial input. You still get the odd howler such as somebody hiring a new Morris car or some very weird sayings.

All that aside, I've thoroughly enjoyed every book, they are superb and highly recommended as is the TV series featuring Nathaniel Parker.

Collector will find fine copies of early titles are uncommon, we do get them and will add them to this page when we do, we also are experimenting with offering some paperbacks for readers. We need to check the viability with them being so cheap and sent out post free etc - we'll expand it if it's financially possible.
