DEVINE, D(avid) M(cDonald). Also wrote as Dominic Devine; David Munro. British. Born in Greenock, Renfrew, 16 August 1920. Educated at Greenock Academy, 1925-38; University of Glasgow, M.A. 1945; University of London, LL.B. 1953. Married Betsy Findlay Munro in 1946; one daughter. Assistant Secretary, North West Engineering Employers Association, Glasgow, 1944-46. Assistant Secretary, 1946-61, Deputy Secretary, 1961-72, and from 1972 Secretary and Registrar, University of St. Andrews, Fife. Died in August 1980.
