Dustwrappers need to carry a price of 7/6 or more

Whilst it is true that some rare books do turn up on ebay, as does the occassional bargain
A large number are dubious, to say the least!
Generally speaking, the problems are reprints sold as first editions and undisclosed faults
Some of this is out of ignorance - some simply fraudulent
Sellers can, and regularly do, misled potential bidders
We do not suggest not buying Collins Crime Club on ebay, merely excercise great caution
