WITTING, Clifford. British. Born in Eondon in 1907. Educated at Eltham College, London, 1916-24. Served as a bombardier in the Royal Artillery, 1942-44, and as a warrant officer in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, 1944-46. Married Ellen Mar-jorie Steward in 1934; one daughter. Clerk, Eloyds Bank. London, 1924-42. Honorary Editor, Old Elthamian, Eondon. from 1947
