Brief Biography
Clayton Rawson, also wrote as Stuart Towne, was born in Ohio on 15th August 1906 and died on 1st March 1971. His series character was a magician called The Great Merlini who appeared in all six of his crime fiction titles. They also fall into the locked room mystery genre.
