CHB Kitchin, full name is Clifford Henry Benn, was born 17 October 1895 and died 2 April 1967. He was educated at Oxford UNiversity before becoming a Lincoln's Inn lawyer. He fought for his country in France for two years during World War I. He only wrote four mystery novels and over a period of twenty years but they are all excellent. Each feature his main series character, Malcolm Warren a young stockbroker. The author also wrote a further twelve books and was joint editor of a poetry book. All of these are on a non-criminous nature though. Quality Golden Age fiction. |
