Bruce Alexander, born 1932 and died 2002, is an author deserving of a much alrger following, those familiar with his work know only too well how good it is. His series character, Sir John Fielding, appears in all eleven novels and is an enjoyable and well rounded charcater. Those who enjoy historical mysteries could certainly do a lot worse than check this author out, if indeed you have not alreday done so. Collectors should not that small print runs of the English 1st editions make them uncommon in fine and collectable condition. |
