Brain Battison, born 1939 and died 1998 was a resident in Northampton where he lived with his wife. Before becoming a writer he worked in television and on stage as an actor and winning gold medals at the Lonodn Academy. He only had 8 books published and his main series character was Detective Chief Inspector Jim Ashford who was ably assisted by Detective Sergeant Holly Bedford. A recommended series to those unfamiliar with the authors work |
